Camp Kaniksu is made possible by community volunteers each summer. Our camp volunteers come from all backgrounds. They attend trainings throughout the Spring to prepare for a weekend of fun and healing with our community’s grieving youth. Completing this GED®/HiSet™ preparation class will help you be ready to earn your high school equivalency diploma. The diploma shows you have the same knowledge as someone who completed high school in the United States. This is a big accomplishment. Not only will you gain an education, but you will have better job choices.
Depending on what state you live in, the diploma will either be called a GED credential or a HiSet credential. Completing the four classes – Social Studies, Language Arts, Science, and Math – will prepare you for your exams.
These GED practice tests and preparation classes are online. You can take these classes on your phone or a computer. The classes are self-paced, so you can learn anytime. Click here to sign up

Santa’s workshop serves children from Big Creek to Cataldo. Applications are distributed to the schools and sent home with students. If you did not receive an application, call the office at Pinehurst Elementary (208) 682-2193

Pick up date for Santa’s Workshop to be announced, pick up will be at Avista side door to enter Santa’s Workshop.

Food vouchers are also available for those is need during the pick-up hours. Applications will be sent home with eligible KSD students in the coming weeks.
