Eric Atkins Memorial Scholarship
Description

This $500.00 scholarship has been established solely for students of Mullan, Wallace or Kellogg High School who wish to pursue a career in the trades, and who plan to attend a trade school or vo-tech program. It is not focused on a student’s GPA, but graduation from a high school in the Silver Valley is mandatory for consideration. Complete the application and Email it as a PDF attachment to ericatkinsscholarship@gmail.com. The deadline to apply is May 1st.

Vocational Rehabilitation
Description

Vocational Rehabilitation is the largest and oldest program funded under the Rehabilitation Act. It is the state-federal eligibility vocational rehabilitation system which provides comprehensive vocational services to individuals with disabilities.

North Idaho College Adult Education Center
Description

NIC’s Adult Education Center is designed to help start and restart opportunities! Our program can help you prepare for the GED® (16 and up), get into college or improve your skills to gain a better job. No matter the reason, tuition is free and learning materials are provided. The AEC allows students to progress at their own pace and offers small group instruction to achieve goals set for each individual student. Classes can be taken online. Completing this GED®/HiSet™ preparation class will help you be ready to earn your high school equivalency diploma. The diploma shows you have the same knowledge as someone who completed high school in the United States. This is a big accomplishment. Not only will you gain an education, but you will have better job choices.
Depending on what state you live in, the diploma will either be called a GED credential or a HiSet credential. Completing the four classes – Social Studies, Language Arts, Science, and Math – will prepare you for your exams.
These GED practice tests and preparation classes are online. You can take these classes on your phone or a computer. The classes are self-paced, so you can learn anytime. Click here to sign up
