Eric Atkins Memorial Scholarship

This $500.00 scholarship has been established solely for students of Mullan, Wallace or Kellogg High School who wish to pursue a career in the trades, and who plan to attend a trade school or vo-tech program. It is not focused on a student’s GPA, but graduation from a high school in the Silver Valley is mandatory for consideration. Complete the application and Email it as a PDF attachment to ericatkinsscholarship@gmail.com. The deadline to apply is May 1st.

Completing this GED®/HiSet™ preparation class will help you be ready to earn your high school equivalency diploma. The diploma shows you have the same knowledge as someone who completed high school in the United States. This is a big accomplishment. Not only will you gain an education, but you will have better job choices.
Depending on what state you live in, the diploma will either be called a GED credential or a HiSet credential. Completing the four classes – Social Studies, Language Arts, Science, and Math – will prepare you for your exams.

SMC Foundation Scholarship

Any student who has, or will, graduate from a Shoshone County high school and plans to pursue a career in any health-related field is eligible to apply for this scholarship. A maximum of four scholarships are awarded each May by the SMC Foundation Board of Directors, for a second semester scholarship in the amount of $500.
