Winter Comfort Kits

This Thursday from 3:30–5:00 PM, we’re meeting in the Wallace Public Library basement to assemble kits for people experiencing homelessness. We’d love for you to join us.

Some of the items we’re including are:

– Warm socks, hats, gloves, and neck gaiters

– Space blankets

– Mess kits (pot, pan, cutlery, bowl), mini-stove

– Fire starters made from repurposed materials

– Rain ponchos, hand warmers, and toe warmers

– Magnesium fire strikes and more

You don’t need any special skills—just come ready to pitch in!
